How did the two of you meet?
We got set up on a blind date by my sister Jeannie and Eric’s cousin Maria. Both are good friends and coworkers.
Jeannie and Maria both tried twice to set us up before we met but to no avail the dates were all duds.
Then came a point when Eric and I were both “available” and the timing was right for our paths to cross
and when it did we hit it off instantly!

How long have you been together?
We’ve been happily together for two years and looking forward to many more to come!
Tell us about your favorite date together
We both discussed this over and agreed that by a long shot our very first date was the most special and memorable date.
It was a blind date. Eric came to my door step and picked me up. (keep in mind this was the first time we met) We were both very nervous
sitting in his car at first but as we drove onward we felt more comfortable and at ease. It was a hot summer night so we decided to hit the
Lake Shore. We walked up and down those streets for hours with our favorite coffee in hand. We walked so much that the back of my heels began
to bleed since I was breaking into a brand new pair of heels. It was embarrassing for me but Eric didn’t shy away from aiding to my achy heel.

What is your favorite thing about one another?
My favorite thing about Eric is his amount of patience. Eric is always there to give me a helping hand and he’s the most loyal and committed individual that I know!
My favorite thing about Tracey is she is warm and welcoming and very dependable. She also can put up with my weird and wacky ways. Last but not least she is so beautiful.

How did he propose?
Eric proposed to me in Niagara Falls and it was very cold and stormy mid February day so his idea of taking me to the falls was out of the question. Eric proposed to me in our hotel room at one of Niagara Falls oldest hotels the Crown Plaza. We then had a delicious meal at the Rainbow room By Massimo Capra.

Assignment:

A very simple idea. With a full week alone in the studio I needed something to fill in those random hours with something to occupy my mind. I came upon this idea to photograph anything and everything I could find in the studio that may look cool. I had only one rule it had to be lit by one little video light (first picture below).

After meeting them and having a great experience with their easy and relaxing experience, my sister then refereed them on to my boss.  So then again we meet at my bosses wedding and as my boss told me that he loved working with Chris and again it was they way Chris had a way of relaxing everyone.
 
So now we are up to me.  When I got engaged, I already had all the information from my sisters wedding on file, so all I had to do was e-mail Chris and sent up an appointment.  Since I already knew the type of work Studio Cabral did, there was no point of me looking anywhere else!
 
When it came to our engagement pictures, Chris gave me a few places on where to go, and then my husband and I decided on one. We went to Sunnyside on a beautiful June day.  Right from the start, Chris made it feel like we were just hanging out with a friend and made that afternoon so relaxed for my husband and I.  There were shots at first we were like “I’m not sure how this is going to look”, but let me tell you that we loved all of those pictures (well maybe not one…you remember that one Chris!), that when I came time to picking out the pictures that was not fun at all! WE WANTED THEM ALL!!!  So we ended up picking out a pictures that we wanted to use as a signature picture for our wedding, that in the end worked out so much better then we would have thought it would!  Anyone who comes over to our house, stops and looks at the picture with all the signatures and say’s how cool it looks!
 
So not only did we get that picture for the wedding, but we ended up ordering two more pictures that we absolutely loved!
 
Now on to the big day.  Again Chris I can’t thank you enough for all the great shots on that day. Our wedding party really loved working with you, and I could see you were having a great time with us also!  You really got some great pictures of all of us just being ourselves, and you knew how to take the right shots for our crazy group!
 
So this is how good Studio Cabral is.  The day before out wedding, my husband banged his forehead on a piece of plywood.  I get the phone call the night before and I tell him keep icing that forehead and pray it doesn’t look so bad tomorrow.  When Chris comes over to my parents place the first thing I asked him was “how bad is it”.  Chris just looked at me and said “It’s bad!”, but not worry.  So when I finally saw my husband I was like “Oh dear lord….these are going to be some nice pictures!”  And true to Chris’ word, you can’t even tell on any of the pictures!  I know it was a pain to fix all those pictures Chris, but what a great job you did.  Tom and I can’t thank you enough for going over and beyond the call.
 
Again, when it came down to picking out our pictures and for out parents, we had so many sheets of paper of pictures that we wanted and if we could we would have had them all!  Trying to pick out the pictures for our parents was a task on it’s own, but no one ever told us how hard it would be to pick out the pictures for us (or maybe it’s the fact that Studio Cabral know what they are doing that makes it hard!).
 
When we show our friends and family our wedding pictures they all say the same this “These pictures are AMAZING!  These pictures should be in magazines!” (my husband and I have to take some credit for that too!).  We have our “wedding picture” in our family room, and we just can’t help it to stop and look at it.  We have had people just stop and get right up close to the picture to see how beautiful it is. Again (my husband and I have to take some credit for that too!).
 
We even had to get another one of our wedding pictures done since we loved it so much (do you see a pattern here).  It was the lost shot at the park just before going to the hall.  Chris stopped my husband and I and started taking pictures.  At first I was like Okay…but then seeing the end result we fell in love with it!  I have people at work who ask me if it’s a wedding cover picture, and why it’s not! The first time we saw it, my husband and I just fell in love with it, that we just needed to have it!
 
Even after the wedding, I’m still ordering pictures from Studio Cabral.  I love their work, and how they make you feel so relaxed.  If you are in the market for a Professional Photographer, then stop your looking at just go to STUDIO CABRAL!!!!  I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
 
lol…I have even endorsed them at the 2011 wedding show (while I was helping a friend out for her thing).

How did the two of you meet ?

Rui and I were going on a triple date with some mutual friends at the time. We were supposed to catch a movie, but ended up at a bar for hours and hours. After that, we managed to talk on the phone for hours on end and hang out day after day. Rui claims that’s when he knew I was the one for him. 

 How long have you been together ?

We’ve been together and in love for over 3 years now.

 Tell us about your favorite date together.

We wish we could! Our favorite date cannot be narrowed down to just one. All of our dates have been memorable and completely different from each other.

What is your favorite thing about one another ?
My favorite thing about Natasha is her ability to allow him to be himself and how unselfish she is. She is always sacrificing so that I can be happy.
 
My favorite thing about Rui is how he always manages to put a smile on my face.  Whether it’s with a laugh or something incredibly sweet – he never fails turning my frowns upside down! 

How did  he propose ?

Rui took me to the first restaurant where we had enjoyed our first dinner date. We made it back to his place, and as soon as I walked in I froze. The lights were dim and there was a long trail of rose petals through the house. At the end of the trail was a box, and it was empty. When I turned around he was on his knee with roses and ring in hand. It was one of the outmost fairy tale-like moments I’ve experienced with this amazing man. Needless to say, I said yes!

Assignment:
Getting my hair cut has become an event since Hollow Ground opened up right in front of our studio. In order to not wait in line for hours do to how busy they are I have resorted to waiting by our front window for them to open and then dart across the street. The whole feel of the place is very cool and I just love going in and shooting the breeze with all of the boys that pass through. So I decided to go in and take some shots just fun and try some new ideas out.
