10 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

In 2017 we will get a little personal…I hope you don’t mind. We will take a look at many things in our studio’s day to day life. We find them interesting and hope that you might as well. What better place to start than a list of things that you don’t know about me (Chris). Sure you may know that I am the lead photographer at Studio Cabral and I am happily married with a daughter. But your here for the dirt. So without further delay here are 10 things you didn’t know about Me.

One…I LOVE the television show The Walking Dead. I cannot miss a show and I am genuinely grumpy if I am 5 minutes late for it on Sunday’s at 9pm. I watch every interview and any spoiler video there is on YouTube related to the show. I will have full blown debates with people on anything that relates to the show. I do not take notes but it’s real close. I have theories and show ideas. It has gotten a little crazy but I think I can handle it.

Two…I will carry a notebook with me everywhere. You never know when an idea hits you and when it does I am ready for it. I get that I can use my phone for that but there’s something about writing something done that makes the universe help to make it happen.

Three…I have an addiction to Mike & Ike’s candy. I have been given a tip of two boxes of Mike & Ike’s on two separate occasions and it was just awesome. Thanks Sarah and Kari!

Four…I will watch any vampire movie ever made. It is a massive fascination I have had since a child. For Halloween in 7 consecutive years I went as a vampire. My grandmother made me an awesome cape that I still have.

Five…If I had one choice for a last meal it would sushi. Any kind made in any way and if it looks weird I would like to eat it. Wasabi or no Wasabi it doesn’t matter. My favorite spot in Toronto is New Generation. If I had a second choice it would be a veal sandwich.

Six…If I have any spare time I am reading. I love to read books, not kindle and or an iPad. Physical hand held books that I can turn the page. My areas of interest are pretty vast but history, business and an Anne Rice vampire novel are top choices.

Seven…I am sure that I may be the only person I know who will have a daily quota for everything. I try to get in a certain amount of reading, walking, thinking, phone calls, photographs taken and just about anything else. I track it daily. I find that it helps keep me balanced.

Eight…I can watch the movie Notting Hill on repeat. Hugh Grant is the man.

Nine…Any sports team that represents Toronto I will cheer for. Even when they are terrible to watch as the Toronto Maple Leafs have been for years. But in their case there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Ten…The best for last. The Beatles. The greatest thing that ever happened to music. Any song at anytime for any situation works for me. Having a bad day? Having a good day? Play any song by The Beatles.

Thanks for sticking around
