Christine & Marcel – Mississauga Convention Centre Wedding

Christine & Marcel – Mississauga Convention Centre Wedding

Christine and Marcel were married this past September. It was the kind of wedding day that you dream of. Beautiful blue skies and an awesome sunny day with a mild temperature. The perfect mix for a perfect wedding day. They even had an awesome bridal party that helped Christian and I capture some great images.

Our day started in the very east end of Toronto. Marcel had a full list of props for us to use but we really liked that basement bar which came complete with cigars. After we took notes on wine thanks to Marcel’s vast knowledge. You just never know when and where you learn new things. But we had to leave for the bride’s getting ready images and a trip down memory lane. You see Christine’s parents wedding photos were taken by my father a few years back. Just awesome seeing the images and politely saying no, when asked if we can do a few of the poses.

The ceremony was held at St. Joseph the Worker in Thornhill, our first visit there. It seemed like most of the people invited to the wedding were there. Which is a nice change of pace from those who only attend the reception. After the wedding ceremony the bride and groom were bombarded with bubbles and when everyone participates it can get bubbly. A quick drive in their rented antique Rolls Royce we arrived at Black Creek Pioneer Village for formal portraits.

The wedding reception was held at the Mississauga Convention Centre and we knew they would do an awesome job, and they did as usual. All of the wedding guests were all treated to a choreographed first dance form the bride and groom. Which was a nice change of pace. It felt like Dancing With The Stars. Except we wouldn’t dare judge or give any grades other than perfect.
