“We started planning our destination wedding over a year ago and Chris was
one of the first people we connected with. We knew that to get quality
photos that we would be happy with – we needed to bring a photographer with
us! Chris seemed to be excited about shooting the destination wedding and
we were thrilled he was going to come along. We all headed down to Punta
Cana with a group of 71 family and friends to enjoy the wedding week.
Everyone warned us that the wedding day would be a blur and would pass by
so quickly… they were right!! We are glad to have had Chris there
throughout the entire day as his photos tell a beautiful story and provide
a constant reminder of all the important moments of the day. He taught us
important lessons like “if you can’t see me then I can’t see you” and the
beauty of a silhouette. Chris was great to work with and really fit in with
the group. With so many great pictures to choose from, it will be almost
impossible to chose our favourite ones!
We had a romantic dinner on the beach one night and Chris happily came
along as our third wheel to capture some lovely evening photos! One morning
during the trip, Chris had us up at 7am to get some cool beach shots – the
pictures are some of our favourites! He got into the ocean with us (seaweed
and all) and the results were great! On Canada Day, the resort threw a foam
pool party for the Canadian guests. During the pool party, human totem
poles seemed like the thing to do and a bunch of us kept trying for a 4-man
totem – Chris wasn’t going to let an opportunity like that get away… he
was there with us, in the pool, capturing all the hilarious moments!
During the week, Chris truly captured some great candid photos that we are
happy to have forever.”
