Kari and Ryan – Pearson Convention Centre

Kari and Ryan’s wedding was one for the ages. What else can you say when a bride chooses to rock a pair or Chuck’s all day (for those of you from an older vintage Chuck’s are Converse All Stars, shoes that come in both low top and high top). Couple that with the fact that Ryan’s a fairly large Star Trek fan that he even had the most awesome pair of trekkie cuff links ever. We tried really hard to “take” these cuff links for George who is also a major Star Trek fan as well, but we just couldn’t. George is such a major fan that the studio’s entrance is designed from a few of the Star Trek ships from over the years. Tip…Look up when you walk into Studio Cabral. Now back to Kari and Ryan’s wedding. We had quite a few props to work with while the bride and groom were getting ready for their big day at each of their locations. Ryan had a few model planes that we took out of boxes and dusted off to add to the images. At Kari’s parents house we even had her mom Lucy hook us up with a few new wall art pieces to use, thanks Lucy. However we are a little discouraged that we could not find a way to incorporate the drums. There was even an early morning attempt on bikes to jump a ramp that a neighbor of Ryan left outside in the middle of the side walk. Which we “borrowed” for a few shots as well as the basketball net and ball for a little 8am street ball. That’s how we roll.

Kari and Ryan’s wedding was also the first time we had a chance to photograph at the Peel Art Gallery in Brampton. On a day that went from pretty good in the morning to absolute down pour right after the ceremony, it’s indoor facilities were a welcome addition to our wedding day locations. We loved photographing their almost as much as we loved the staff’s help, they are all great and so very helpful. With our 2 camera photography coverage on the day we could have used another hour or so at the art gallery. But we will save those ideas for the next time we are there. After the formal shoot at the art gallery we headed off to Pearson Convention Centre for the party. Our friends at DJ Emporium had the crowd jumping all night, with a little help from our friend C-Styxx. Now for what you came to see. Here are the great images we captured from Kari and Ryan’s Wedding.

What amazing pictures. Great job, but the beautiful couple also made your job a lot easier.
