How did the two of you meet
Matt an I met through mutual friends when we were 14 and 15 years old. He was working at a kiosk at Erin mills town centre and the girl I was with knew him, so we stopped to talk. We both had an ugly blue flip phone which we laughed about because we were literally the only two people we knew that had it however I think it was his attempt to get my number… and It worked!! That was the beginning of a friendship that years later turned into the love we have for each other today.
How long have you been together
We have been together for 8 years!
Tell us about your favorite date together
Hmmmm I’m not sure that we have a favorite date together, we have been on so many over the years… we make a conscious effort to spend as much quality time together as we can so we often cook together, go for walks/jogs, go to the movies, or just watch our favorite television shows together. We also love to travel and have been fortunate enough to travel to many places together. Our adventures have lead us to some truly incredible dates.
What is your favorite thing about one another
There are so many favorite things about one another – That’s why we are married!
How did he propose
Matt proposed on Christmas morning… We had spent the night at my parent’s house to open presents in the morning. After the presents were finished he proposed, the tricky part was I was sitting on the floor!! My mom and grandparents were doing everything to try and get me standing up or at least sitting on the couch… matt walked into the room crying with a box in his shaky hands (I instantly knew what was about to happen) he asked me to marry him and I said YES!
