“Where are we going?” “Just drive. Turn Here. Hmm,.. Stop! Let’s Go.”
Our engagement was just as spontaneous as our shoot with Chris Cabral. With our wedding quickly approaching, we had no choice but to do our shoot in the blistering cold of December. Although we felt at times that we may actually freeze to death (ha-ha!), Chris helped us forget about the cold. We joked, laughed and paraded around Toronto as if it were Spring. We had no idea what to expect from the shoot, but we knew the photos would come out incredible. We had a fun time with Chris, he has an amazing talent of making us feel so comfortable, as if he weren’t there at times. We never realized how easy it is for Chris to turn a dirty, homeless haven into a picture-perfect backdrop. We could definitely see how his passion for photography makes his work so remarkable. Chris had us sitting on dirty grounds, leaning against frozen walls, and laid on the frozen cement himself just to catch a perfect shot. We haven’t seen many people who put their hearts into their work like Chris did. We cannot wait for our wedding day with Cabral! We know each moment will be caught with nothing but absolute perfection.
