Samantha & Wesley Eglinton Grand Wedding

Samantha & Wesley Eglinton Grand Wedding

We had an awesome day capturing both photos and video of Samantha and Wesley’s wedding day. With a full staff on hand including 2 photographers as well as 2 videographers we left no stone unturned. On top of all that we also had a same day edit AND photo booth at the reception held at the Eglinton Grand. Too much to handle? not for us. This year has been one great event after another and we are just getting started.

Our day kicked off bright and early in Caledon at 7am for the groom Wesley with team one form Studio Cabral. Complete with Bab Socks for all of the groomsmen we knew we were in for a fun day, and we were right. Wesley looked like your favorite British spy James Bond with white jacket but it was in honor of Samantha’s father who also wore a white jacket on his wedding day. Studio Cabral team two had the pleasure of getting the bride Samantha ready for her big day. Before the bride could get her dress on we decided to take it outside and hang it from tall trees to get the shot we wanted. We even played with her veil both on and off the bride, with that size veil you can tell we had some fun all day. Before leaving we needed to get a few cool shots of the bride’s Badgley Mischka shoes.

Their 11am ceremony started right on time at St. Clare in Toronto despite a long drive in from Brampton. We love capturing wedding ceremony images at this church as it is easily in the top 5 within Toronto for photography. It gives us a great advantage in having the steps to have all in attendance in one priceless image. Once we choreography where all 4 of us will be within the next few hours Studio Cabral team 3 (a mix of team 1 and 2) headed to the Distillery District for some more top notch image capturing. While there we actual witnessed a gentlemen proposing to his girlfriend. Judging by the applause I think she said yes. After a few more flying veil shots we headed back uptown to the Eglinton Grand for the reception.

Studio Cabral are big fans of the way the first dance is done at the Eglinton Grand. They really take the movie theme and run with it. By introducing the bride and groom on the dance floor behind curtains is just awesome. You have to see it to truly appreciate it, it was outstanding. Once our great dinner and touching speeches were complete the dancing began while Breakfast at Tiffany’s played on the big screen. With the photo booth running non stop and Tiny Tom donuts being eaten (mostly by me) the night rolled on. We now will always a fondness for the song Baba O’Reilly by the Who, those guests that were left know why.
