September Adamson Estate Wedding – Cidalia and Sergio

Before we get started on the actual wedding day segment of this blog post I need to state that Cidalia is an awesome name. I may be a little bit biased because it’s my moms name but it is still one of the best names you can name your daughter, when you have one. True I did not name my daughter Cidalia but with one already in the family things could have gotten confusing. And now back to your regularly scheduled blog post.

Our day started in my dad’s old hood of Dufferin and Dundas. Cidalia was getting ready at her moms house deep in my fathers old stomping grounds. Although many of the Portuguese families have gone and moved away their presence can still be felt. We took a tour of the neighborhood and was schooled on which lane ways not to go down. I made a few mental notes and also captured a few cool images in the lane ways we could go down. Of to St. Mary’s church where Sergio was waiting patiently to get married.

With us being 45 minutes early to the ceremony, a theme which was consistent in 2017 we took Sergio and his boys around the block to escape the crowd of guests who too were a little early. Shaking off the nerves before the ceremony we were ready to rock as show time came pretty quickly. As does everything when you are having fun. After an emotional wedding ceremony we all jumped into the limo bus and headed to Adamson Estate in Mississauga. For a September Saturday it was a little light on people traffic in and around the park as we photographed, which lead nice clean images. Plus the boats that were out on the lake did help a bit. But as mentioned before our exit time came quickly (to much fun remember) and the wedding reception awaited us at Mississauga Grand up the street.
