Why Your Wedding Timeline is important
There are many things that happen on a wedding day. If your wedding consists of multiple days many more things can happen. Even though you have planned out every detail and know where to be you can be overwhelmed. As a photographer we have spent a very large amount of time with you in the months and weeks prior to your special day. We know a little about what your tastes and preferences are. We can help with that timeline as well as show why it is important to have one.
At the point in your wedding planning where you start the timeline we have already had multiple conversations with you. In many cases we know what your first pet’s know was. Would little Patches want you to go through your day loosey goosey. Of course not unless little Patches was actually a goose. At which point you get a high five.
Your photographer knows what images you want captured and where those images will be captured. We could tell you the best times to be at those places for the look and style that only you are looking for. Your wedding timeline can be tweaked and changed to meet your requirements. If there are certain images you need to have we can help you get them. Of course we will take into consideration times and locations that all events will be taking place.
Taking into account what the other vendors require is also a must. Communication is key to achieve that. If you need to be at the altar at noon, rest assured that you will be there. When your reception is to start at 7pm, you will be there at 6:59pm. We take great pride in having things run smooth and on time. There is not a phone call with a client that we do not ask what the other vendors think. It’s about the client and never us.
It’s always a good thing to get your wedding timeline out to your vendors, bridal party as well as family weeks in advance. Get them to confirm as well. It’s the best way to avoid a conflict. Your wedding timeline is the tool that you and all of your vendors use to achieve that goal of making your dream come true. We have experienced everything that happens through out the day and know how to deal with it. But the experience helps in the planning of the wedding timeline so that you can be ready for anything.
